Four East Kilbride community groups have received a share of more than £1000 through the council’s community grants scheme.
Councillors on the East Kilbride Area Committee today (November 4) granted the latest batch of funding.
Community grants are given to local community and voluntary groups across all four wards, with set funding given to each area committee to release cash to organisations.
DrumEk is proud to share resources and build a partnership with Universal Connection in East Kilbride, helping someone take their first steps into djembe drumming. In our early days, The Buddy Beat supported us in exactly the same way, and we’re delighted to pass that encouragement forward. Together, we’re creating opportunities, confidence, and connection through rhythm..
